Rail-Tech Europe 2013 – Where technology meets the market

Since the mid-1990s the railway sector has gone through a period of increasingly rapid change. Much of this is down to a growing demand for transport services, a sustained phase of consolidation due to deregulation and industry reforms, and EU enlargement*. Rail-Tech Europe has been, since its first edition in 1997, a great meeting place for the European rail industry. It has served as an international platform where technology and the rail market meet in order to discuss policy and practice. The venue change for Rail-Tech Europe in 2011 from Utrecht to Amersfoort has been more than a logical one. With a large number of rail and related companies and organisations, Amersfoort is an ideal venue for Rail-Tech Europe. For this 9th edition we expect Rail-Tech Europe to grow again both in numbers of exhibitors and visitors.
