Marlene Klompenhouwer

As Head of Asset Management at Infrabel, Marlene Klompenhouwer leads innovation, digitization and asset management in the domains of railway signalling, switches and power supply. She has broad experience in program management, change management and engineering. She enjoys driving change in complex, high stakes environments, where technology and the human factor go hand-in-hand. During her 10+ years at Infrabel, she was first responsible for corporate strategy, and then moved on to leadership positions in the Belgian ERTMS programme (“Masterplan ETCS”) and, more recently, asset management and digital personnel protection (“Safer works”).
